ABOUT US
Brighter Community Services (BCS) is the combination of 25 years of professional and personal experience in the field of developmental disabilities and a deep desire to serve and improve the lives of neurodiverse individuals. Nayeli’s extensive background was rooted at a nonprofit organization in which she began working as Direct Support Care Giver and worked her way up multiple positions over the years to become the Director of a Supported Living Service and a Day Program. Likewise, Claudia began as a Direct Support Care Giver and grew to manage a Supported Living Service Program. Learning the current system from the bottom up has helped us be aware of the gaps in services and access for too many individuals with enormous potential. “Brighter” is more than just a word; it is the soul and force behind our mission and our passion to serve since our very beginnings.
For far too long we have experienced the frustration of individuals who do not fit into the boxes that have been predetermined for them. The unique abilities and needs of every person demands unique services and supports to meet them. Self Determination Program has opened a door through which we want to walk with you as you lead the way and accomplish your dreams.
